Reviews
Dinner with Martha was top notch. Starting with the artful bread basket with three kinds of bread. All were wonderful. I had the pork chop and baked potato and my wife had scallops and cream spinach. I also had a wonderful ceasar salad. My wife also like the lemony lemonade. A fantastic dinner.
Service at Bedford was impeccable and the ambience was amazing. The ricotta stuffed blossoms were delicious but very light. I love the pierogis with the brown butter. Some of the side dishes were bigger than anticipated such as the creamy spinach, French fries and mac and cheese. The table comes with an assortment of breads like foccasia. When you order the basked potato puree, a server will come out and prepare it in front of you. Some of the food was very salty like french fries and bread. Some people in my party complained that the pork chop was overcooked.
After having a terrible experience at GR Steak, we were tempted to cancel our reservation here. I’m so glad we didn’t.
They had all the elements that GR Steak was missing - comfortable seating area while you wait for your table (Paris halls are very busy/crowded, I preferred being away from all the people), tables were appropriately spaced apart so you didn’t feel like you couldn’t have a proper conversation or that you were struggling to tune out the others, table lamps were provided to aid in the menu reading.
We did the pierogies to start (and as per other reviews, fabulous!) I had the mushroom truffle pasta & my partner had the scallop risotto (for reference GR Steak is the same price for the risotto with 1/2 the scallops!). Both dishes were amazing. The star was dessert - the upside lemon meringue, I’m kicking myself for not getting a couple togo.
4/5 for the high tables which are difficult to sit at wearing a dress & for the large breed dog that was in the restaurant (owner sat at the bar) and got away and joined a table near us. I don’t think pets should be allowed in the restaurant like that (not a service dog).
délicieux! Everything was amazing. The dining room was set up like Martha Stewart’s actual dining room, even down to the view. The real star of the night was the upside down lemon meringue pie. Crispy tart and creamy!
The food was good. Did the prefix menu and the dishes were good but not great. The service was seriously lacking. Our waiter would leave for long periods of time and was not attentive. We had to ask several times to have glasses / empty plates removed. The glassware for two of my cocktails was chipped and they only noticed because I mentioned it. The restroom too is so odd- you walk out of the restaurant to go into and alley-like cafe and walk into the restroom. They also spilled water on my friend and didn’t utter an apology or offer a napkin.
This was our second time dining here. The first time, the food was great, but the service and timing of dishes lacked. We wanted to give it another try because the first time we dined here was closer to when they opened. It’s clear they’ve since worked out the kinks. The service was flawless start to finish, food is tasty and drinks are divine! We shared pierogies, couscous royale, the zucchini appetizer, bread basket, and pumpkin pie. Everything we tried was delicious. For drinks, we ordered the Martha-Tini and the Martha-Rita. Highly suggest the Martha-Rita. Can’t wait to go back!
I did not enjoy my evening here because of the expectation i had for this place!
The pasta was not cooked well it only took them two minutes to boil them and then served immediately it was hard !
while i waited for them to bring the order for 29 minutes!
It seems that they made it after forgetting about it . However, the shrooms was excellent
The shrimp was ok .
The concept more about organic ingredients
The waiter was nice 👍🏼
I Can’t repeat it
As a Las Vegan, don't travel to the Strip often.
Glad we made an exception to try the newest celebrity driven venue in Paris.
Of course, prices are high as expected and zero wine value. But ambiance, food and experience were almost worth it.
Make sure to try the pierogis, pineapple upside-down cake and halibut with corn chowder.
